According to Wikipedia, Black Friday is an informal name for the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.  Many stores offer highly promoted sales on Black Friday and open very early, such as at midnight. And people are crazy about Black Friday because it’s the start of the biggest shopping weekend of the year. It was claimed in 2001 that Black Friday is the busiest day of the year. When Black Friday first started, it was in America, but then it got spread in many countries like Canada, Brazil, France, UK, and many more. Moreover, in Mexico, Black Friday is referred to as ” El Buen Fin”, which translates to “The Good Weekend”.

The average shopper is expected to spend $472 on that day. In addition, many people rather shop online. In 2017 Black Friday online sales reached $5.03 billion, a 16.9 percent increase from 2016. Also, 40% of Online Shoppers Make Purchases from a Smartphone.  In 2017, a record 40 percent of online sales were made on mobile phones, which was an 11 percent increase from 2016.
