It is debatable either working from home should be permitted or not. There are many advantages and disadvantages to it. Many people find it more comfortable and easier to work from home, as it helps in saving money because you don’t pay transportation every day, and you don’t travel for work a lot as you can easily contact online and work from distance. According to Fundera website, employers offering at least part-time telecommuting flexibility collectively save $44 billion each year. In addition, the employer is free to manage time according to his/her schedule, in effect absence rate will decrease and the employee will be more satisfied with the attendance. Also, according to PayRoll two-thirds of managers who work from home are overall more productive.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages as well to working from home. Such as, lack of communication with your boss and colleagues, difficulty concentrating on work issues as family issues may come in the way and cause distraction, Wi-Fi problems, missing important calls, and security concerns. In short, there are both advantages and disadvantages to working from home.
