There are many benefits of traveling and exploring the world. The more experienced the person is, the better understating he/she will have for the world. Visiting different countries will help a person in gaining friends, understanding other cultures better, and in creating memories. Also, traveling releases stress, enhances a person’s creativity, and lowers the risk of depression.
According to a joint study from the Global Commission on Aging and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies, traveling keeps a person healthier. In this study, it was found that women who vacation at least twice a year have lower risk of suffering a heart attack than those women who only travel every five years or so. And the same is true for men, men who don’t usually take vacations have 30 percent greater risk of heart disease.
Traveling and exploring new countries helps a person in understating and learning about other people culture and traditions. It also helps a person to become more open minded and accepting to others, as well as it advances one’s communication skills as he/she will meet and socialize with foreign people. In short, traveling has many benefits when it comes to health and a person’s well-being.
